This beautiful couple chose to have an intimate wedding in Lake Oswego, Oregon, surrounded by twenty-five of their immediate family and friends. The lovely couple said “I do” above the lake.
Followed by a reception for their original guest list later in the year! They hired a videographer to capture the ceremony and a few additional intimate moments that can be shared with their guests at their wedding reception celebration on New Year’s Eve. A beautiful way to honor their love story with everyone!
Many wedding couples are currently making big decisions about whether to postpone their wedding event. Or to downsize their wedding event to a smaller intimate wedding celebration.
There is something magical about an intimate wedding day, surrounded by those who are the nearest and dearest to your heart.
You can still have the wedding of your dreams, with all the amazing fancy details. You can even have a black-tie event. Or split your event up to two separate locations and dates. With an intimate wedding ceremony and a larger reception at a later date.
Regardless of the choice you make, it’s ALWAYS perfect!!! Ultimately I say follow your heart. Weddings no matter the size or whether you decide to elope or wait… it will be amazing regardless.

As a 20-year full-time wedding photographer, you would think at some point I’ve experienced and see just about everything! But year after year, I’m proven wrong. I mean who would have thought in my lifetime that we would be experiencing a “pandemic”. I mean, you must document it… something for the album to always remember right?
