What to wear for a maternity session:
Fitted maxi dresses work really nice for maternity sessions, because they show off the baby bump. Dresses with flowy fabric work nicely for a whimsical maternity session. Consider renting a dress or gown. Don’t be afraid to accessorize with hats, scarfs, jewelry, boots anything to create a style that is unique to you! Wear comfortable shoes that are fitting for the weather and environment that you will be in. Consider the colors within the scenery ahead of the photo shoot, so that you can choose color choices within your attire that will stand out against the back drop.
When should you plan your maternity session?
I highly recommend booking your maternity session when you are between 27-34 weeks. No later than 34 weeks as baby could come any time! It’s been to plan ahead as my books fill up quickly especially during the prime beautiful weather months June – October.
