A rustic engagement photoshoot at the breathtaking Smith Rock State Park in Central Oregon. Smith Rock offers a rustic and stunning backdrop for an engagement session with vibrant colors year-round. This winter engagement session at Smith Rock was just gorgeous. Even though it started to rain, we all had a great time capturing candid and relaxed images they can cherish. The wind and unsettled sky provided dimension and movement to their engagement photos which is dreamy! The rain added a lot of color and vibrancy to the rocky cliffs, which will show up so beautifully in their final prints. I provided a few clear umbrellas as well as a Pendleton blanket to make sure that my couple had a comfortable experience with the weather. I even managed to capture a few panoramics as well.
This sweet couple chose two outfit changes. A formal outfit and a casual outfit. Both clothing choices compliment each other cohesively with color and style. Furthermore, the colors of the outfits pop out so well with all the rich gold tones that Smith Rock has to offer. A lot of couples ask me for outfits ideas and inspiration. And so, I would love to share that my go-to for inspiration is Pinterest. Also, be your true selves. Wear clothing that reflects who you are as a couple and your relationship. Also, consider what your home looks like. You will be hanging your pictures up on the wall to cherish for years to come. Choose outfits that look nice on your walls. Images look best when displayed cohesively with the style, colors and overall look of your home.
