Timberline Lodge is a mountain lodge on the south side of Mount Hood in Oregon. Built in the late 1930s, this National Historic Landmark sits at an elevation of 5,960 feet, within the Mount Hood National Forest and is accessible through the Mount Hood Scenic Byway. It is a popular tourist attraction, drawing more than a million visitors annually. It is noted in film for serving as the exterior of the Overlook Hotel in The Shining. We could not have been lucky enough with the weather for Abbey and John’s engagement session. It was a crisp, clear and simply gorgeous sunny day on Mt. Hood. They had never been to Timberline Lodge before as they are new to Oregon. We had a blast showing them around, admiring the views together, and getting to know this lovely couple more. We are excited to capture their wedding this fall at Brasada Ranch in Central Oregon.Like what you see? Please feel free to leave us a comment, we welcome your feedback and our clients love it too!
