We met Corinne & Matt at Vintners Inn in Santa Rosa, CA to see the place they had chosen to exchange their vows. The setting was stunning and tranquil. Tuscan style architecture and beautiful gardens surrounded us. Then we were off to one of their favorite wineries near the Santa Rosa, CA area. Off the beaten path it was too. Benovia Winery creates an amazing Pinot Noir Savoy from their Anderson Valley vineyards and in a goblet it was quite a treat. From that location we headed to San Francisco to a favorite spot with gorgeous views, the Marin Headlands offer the quintessential sight of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge, Alcatraz and San Francisco’s skyline. Today the sun of Sonoma County was not to be seen in Marin except for the spot lights that broke through the clouds. Between gusts above 20 mph momentary lapses smiles and laughter from two very happy people. And lastly we finished the engagement photo shoot at the location of which Matt proposed on top of Twin Peaks. One stunning view of the city… one very romantic proposal. We look forward to capturing their wedding in Santa Rosa, CA next year.
