Kristin & Brad Wedding Aspen Hall Bend, OR | Central Oregon Wedding Photographer

We first met Kristin when she was a bridesmaid for a wedding we shot in Central Oregon last year. We feel honored to have had the chance to work with her not once but twice since then. We had a blast capturing their engagement session out at Sparks Lake with their adorable puppy Macie and a phenomenal time photographing their wedding this weekend. (Engagement session Sparks Lake)

Kristin spent the morning at the Phoenix Inn getting ready while sipping mimosas with her mother and six bridesmaids. She wore a vintage-inspired dress and a beautiful rose hairpiece from Etsy with a bouquet of white roses and orchids from Flowers by Deanna. The weather was a bit crazy in the early morning with snow drifting sideways but as always, Chris and I remained optimistic that the weather would change. The sun came out in the afternoon and Kristen had the clear blue skies she had dreamed of on her wedding day. Brad had beers and a bite to eat with his groomsmen before the limo picked them up and took them to downtown Bend where Chris took some shots of the guys in Tin Alley before the bridal party arrived. We set up a private meeting for Brad and Kristin to have their first look at each other and then had some fun with the blue satin-clad bridesmaids and tuxedoed groomsmen as they paraded through eclectic side streets. We finished by heading out to Shevlin Park for portraits.

The wedding took place at Aspen Hall. The ceremony was romantic, short and sweet; performed by Bryon Mengle. The tables were adorned with lush ivory and baby blue hydrangeas in mason jars. Bleu Bite catered the event, with a loin of pork and tri-tip for dinner followed by dancing to a mix of country and classic music provided by Dave Clemens. Kristin made the darling burlap favors herself and her father made a honey IPA that he and Brad then bottled together.

It was a pleasure working with you again, Kristin and Brad. We hope you have the time of your life in Maui on your honeymoon!
