Melissa & Ben Wedding Photography Sunriver Resort, OR | Sunriver Wedding Photography

We first met Melissa and Ben in Seattle last November and we could tell right away that they were madly in love. Melissa, a former Portland Trail Blazer Cheerleader, and her fiancé Ben were planning the quintessential central Oregon wedding and we were so lucky to be a part of it.
Married in the Great Hall at Sunriver Resort, this wedding was AMAZING! Mary, the mother of the bride was the mastermind behind the theme and décor. From the candlelit ceremony to the place settings and even the beautiful flower decor on the ceremony chairs memorializing lost loved ones, the Mother of the Bride as well as Melissa and Ben remembered every last detail. Beautiful tablecloths and simple white china were accented with birch bark, antler (representing the “Horn” last name) and crystal accents. The bridesmaid’s wore warm chocolate dresses with matching fur wraps (and matching vests for the groomsmen) the great hall had hydrangeas everywhere as well as calla lilies in white. The dessert table was divine, with black berry pie, plates heaped with meringues and dark chocolate toffee bark. And the evening was topped off with a surprise for the guests, a karaoke band called the Karaoke Band from Hell from Portland, Oregon. I don’t think there was a single person sitting…
Cheers to the happy couple. You picked a beautiful day and an exquisite location. We are so grateful to you for allowing us to be a part of your celebration!

What a cute way to show it off 🙂One thing that Chris and I like to provide to our clients is a great combination of images utilizing our strobe lighting set up as well as a mix of shots using only the available light. I think this is a great example of the two. Fabulous cake and desert table by Amy Childs of One Divine Party One of the highlights of the evening was when Melissa and Ben surprised their wedding guests with a full Karaoke Band – Karaoke From Hell (band name) They are Northwest’s original live karaoke band from Portland Oregon. AMAZING FUN! All of the wedding guests really got into it…. people singing and dancing like crazy! Melissa and Ben kicked it off…
