Liz and Scott chose the immaculate Columbia River Gorge Hotel for their wedding. Liz is from Pennsylvania and though she and Scott reside in Camas, Washington, the majority of her family came all the way from Pennsylvania for their gorgeous destination wedding. The ceremony was held in one of the Columbia River Gorge Hotel’s famous manicured gardens with Liz’s two sisters playing violin as her nephew played the cello.

We captured Liz climbing out of her Honda Odyssey in her exquisite strapless wedding gown to meet Scott. We chose a hill with a wonderful backdrop of Hood Mountain for their first look, followed by some playful shots of Scott carrying his bride-to-be through the vineyards.

The color for the occasion was pink, with delicate pink roses and white dahlias for Liz’s bouquet, pink rose-filled vases hung from ribbons to line the aisles for the ceremony, pink ties for the Father of the Bride, groom and groomsmen and two pink gingham-clad flower girls to lead Liz down the aisle. There were pink roses in the table centerpieces and pink roses cascading down the wedding cake.

After the ceremony, we captured some wonderful shots of the happy couple standing by the Wah-Gwin-Gwin Falls and feeding each other that first bite of wedding cake.The Columbia Gorge Hotel in Hood River provides an entertaining view:)It was really important to Liz and Scott that we incorporate Mt. Hood in some of their wedding day photos. So we set up their “first look” with a breath taking view of Mt.
