Julia & David Wedding Mt. Bachelor & Tetherow Golf Club Bend, OR | Central Oregon Wedding Photographer

This was a unique and especially exciting wedding. We had the honor of capturing Julia and David’s engagement photos last year at the Five Pine Lodge in Sisters as well as Three Creeks in Central Oregon. (Julia and David’s engagement session link) We knew right away that capturing the rest of their love story was going to be adventurous and exciting… which is right up our alley! Julia and David planned to tie the knot on top of Mt Bachelor while skiing with their friends and family. Of course… we are always up for anything… so we went for it. The original plan was to say their vows at the Summit of Mt. Bachelor. However it was socked in and the lift was closed on the day, so with a little scouting they found the perfect private location off the rainbow chair lift. We all skied over to the spot and then hiked in a bit. It was magical and moving wedding ceremony as they said “I do” under the tall pine trees that are perched up on a lovely little cliff.Julia’s little nephew was not to thrilled about the snow lolAll of their friends where so excited… they just couldn’t wait to get up on that mountain!Let’s get this show on the road!Gorgeous paper bouquet from etsy.comA few days later we captured another wedding ceremony at Tetherow Golf Club in Bend, Oregon. Many of their close friends and family attended this beautiful winter destination ceremony.Gorgeous paper bouquets from etsy.comI highly recommend “Allison Family Band” www.allisonfamilyband.comThis is a really neat idea… we shot a panoramic photo of Julia & Dave during their engagement photos last fall with the Three Sister’s Mts in the back ground. They had it made into a puzzle for guests to sign. So neat!
