Hannah and Mark followed Hannah’s parents in choosing St. Agatha’s Catholic Church in the Sellwood-Moreland area of Portland for their wedding. With the pews full of family and friends on a stunning day in the fall, they exchanged their vows. From the church to the Tiffany Center in a Bentley they went. With a brief stop on the Eastbank Esplanade for photos. In between, this shot and that shot, I caught Hannah reacting to something Mark had said. Classic, timeless, traditional.
I chose to blog this wedding in mostly black and white with my favorites from the day because of the classic, elegant beauty of bride… I felt the black and white imagery truly shows the timeless romantic essence of this fabulous matrimony. Hannah’s desire for her wedding photography was a photo journalistic approach with little posed imagery. It was wonderful to be the quiet observer of Hannah and Mark’s wedding day capturing it’s true raw form..jpg)
