We first had the pleasure of meeting Jeff and Brooke at a wedding we did a few years ago for their friends. Tawny and Jason were married in barn out at Summer Lake and Brooke was a bridesmaid. She and Jeff were just starting to date then. We quickly bonded with them that day. Soon after, Jeff and Brooke moved to North Bend, OR but remained close to their friends in Central Oregon. Together they brought a beautiful baby girl into the world.
Brooke and Jeff were married at Maverick’s at Sunriver Resort over the weekend. Brooke has been a loyal follower of the blog ever since Tawny and Jason’s wedding. We truly appreciated that they chose us to be their wedding photographers. To experience the love that they have for each other and their daughter, as well as the friendship the two couple share is truly a blessing. Tawny arranged for all of the beautiful flowers at the wedding and Jason walked his best friend Brooke down the aisle. They even shared a beautiful dance together.
The artistic portraits were shot along the Deschutes River. The weather was unsettled all day. It had been overcast, windy, with all kinds of stuff falling from the clouds. Three seasons all in a single afternoon. Then just as they went to meet for their first look, along the river the sun fell below the clouds and the scene was lit in a spectacular golden ray of light. The lighting was amazing and we made great use of the break in the weather.
Karaoke was the entertainment for the evening and many great love songs were sung throughout the evening..jpg "B2")
