The Green Springs Box-R Ranch, a working guest ranch of over 1,500 acres, offers a unique mountain retreat in the Southern Oregon Cascades. It is now enclosed within the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument and contains some of the most diverse plant and animal life found in the state of Oregon.
When the Applegate Trail was established in 1846, the ranch’s one hundred acre Round Prairie Meadow with its free flowing springs was a natural resting place for wagon teams.
Authentic old west buildings, covered wagons and carriages surround the property and provide guests with a look of one of the most extensive collections of old west artifacts in Oregon. The ranch museum was built to house many of these western artifacts.
