Well school is out… and now it’s fun! We decided to celebrate with a family night at the Aspen Hall’s fishing pond. The perfect spot to take the kids fishing… “EXCEPT, on the weekends during WEDDINGS!!”. Don’t take your kids there on a Saturday, you will be sitting there fishing right as a wedding ceremony is taking place. haha…. Anyway, it was fun tonight. It always cracks me up how different my two children’s personalities are. Awbrey is all about it, she is excited and motivated to do what ever it takes to catch the first fish, of which by the way …. there is a reward of $1.00 for the first to catch a fish. Kind of a family tradition passed down from my dad.
Johnny on the other hand, doesn’t like to get dirty. He complained the entire time that fishing was making him sweat! And that fishing was soooo hard. lol So guess who caught the FISH?
The kids quickly figured out that if they stood on the bridge, they could actually watch the fish come bite the bait! lol… So they sat and sat and watched intently. .jpg "Blog10")
