Raesha & Eric Engagement Session Edgefield McMenamins Troutdale, OR | Portland Wedding Photographer

We shot Raesha and Eric’s engagement photos last Friday at the Edgefield McMenamins in Troutdale, Oregon. The historic Edgefield, built in 1911 as the county poor farm, features original buildings carefully restored with cozy interiors and gardens set on 74 acres of farmland at the mouth of the spectacular Columbia River Gorge. The couple have a beautiful baby boy together and as they planned the wedding of their dreams, they realized that while an engagement photography session was essential, it was also important to include their son and so became their first professional photo shoot as a family as well. We had a great time shooting them in the grass, in the wine cellar – where Chris helped hold the baby so I could shoot a few images of the couple alone – and even on a little putting green since Eric is such a big fan of golfing.

We will be photographing their wedding in just a few weeks in the historic Great Hall at the spectacular Sunriver Resort.
With a little babysitting on Chris’s behalf, I even managed to catch a few romantic moments between Raesha and Eric… but this shot was to cute to pass up! Thank you Chris… for donating your loving arms and glasses to keep the little Mr. happy!:)
